Frequently Asked Questions

Starting in 2024, ACM Read is no longer available for new subscribers. Instead, new customers are directed to subscribe to the ACM Open, an open access publishing initiative by the ACM. 

 

Institutions must subscribe to the ACM Open for at least three years at a pre-fixed rate, which will grant them APC deposits as well as access to the ACM Read in 2024 (journals, conference proceedings, etc.)

 

Pricing of the ACM Open takes into account the number of research articles published by one Institution in one year. These pricing come in nine (9) tiers/levels. Please consult with our team to know more.

From 2024 onwards, attending conference proceedings held by the ACM come at a cost, the deposits may also be used to cover for that cost.

ACM will charge APC deposit as per the Institution’s request and instruction.

We no longer provide free trial for ACM DL (ACM Read). In 2025, ACM DL will be open for everyone.

Yes, usage report can be sent to the institution admin on a regular basis.

We, as the channel partner of ACM DL, will provide an onboarding with both the library and faculty team, either by on-site training or webinars.
